Jon Feldman

I am a Senior Research Scientist at Google, in the New York office.
I was an NSF postdoc in the department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University, working with Cliff Stein.
I was also a lecturer in the Computer Science Department at Columbia.
I finished my Ph.D. in 2003 at the Laboratory for Computer Science at MIT, and my advisor was David Karger.
I graduated from Dartmouth College in 1997.

My research is mainly in Algorithms, Algorithmic Game Theory, Coding Theory, and other areas of Theoretical Computer Science.

I taught "Introduction to Coding Theory" in Fall, 2004 at Columbia.
I taught "Theory of Computation" in Spring, 2005 at Columbia.
I am teaching "Theory of Computation" in Fall, 2005 at Columbia.
